Qēt Botanicals® | Restoring Herbal Exfoliant with Tea & Roses
Restoring | Step 2 Exfoliate | Norm / Sens / Dry / Dehydrated
Green tea, rose petals, and colloidal oats blended with fine Himalayan pink salt will gently exfoliate the skin’s surface to reveal fresh and toned skin. Natural alpha hydroxy acids and the infusion of the botanicals and minerals gently buff away tired skin cells to reveal smooth and renewed skin. You control the level of exfoliation.
After using the cleansing oil, add a small amount of exfoliant to the palm of your hand, or mask bowl, then add a small amount of cleansing oil to form a paste. Gently massage it in small circles on all areas of face, neck, and chest. Be gentle – let the herbs do the work for you.
Follow with a warm washcloth steam. Moisten washcloth with warm water and press on to your skin, allowing your pores to open and absorb the benefits of the antioxidants and natural botanicals in the herbal exfoliant. Relax, take a deep breath, and repeat. No need to scrub – just gently wipe away.
You can let it dry on the skin for a moment, or rinse away immediately. Feel free to let it sit on your skin before steaming, allowing a few minutes to pass and the botanicals to benefit your skin.
It’s a wonderful way to finish the day. You can exfoliate lightly on a daily basis, no more than once a day. If open areas are visible on the skin, be extra gentle, or avoid the area until healed.
Q. I see you have two different kinds of exfoliants – one with clay and one with minerals. Do I need to use both?
A. No, you don’t. We’ve given you and your skin options for changes in your skin condition. The herbal exfoliants include healing minerals and herbs to help with surface inflammation, activity, and upset while boosting moisture and softness. The clay exfoliants literally absorb toxins and impurities from the skin’s surface for more of a deep down exfoliation and clean, in addition to softening and smoothing with the herbs. Some prefer to alternate treatments for wonderfully smooth skin.
Q. Can I use water instead of cleansing oil to make my exfoliating paste?
A. Using water with your herbal exfoliant will cause the minerals to dissolve and lessen the amount of exfoliation. We recommend using just a small amount of cleansing oil to make your paste.
Q. Can I mix my exfoliator with my cleanser as the first step?
A. To get the deep down cleansing benefits from the cleansing oil, we recommend that you first massage your skin with your cleansing oil. Before removing with the warm washcloth steam, add your favorite exfoliator with your cleansing oil and then exfoliate as needed.
